This book memorializes my over-fifty-year friendship with my mentor, friend, and fishing partner, Lyman Sprout. It also allows me to share with the reader the many memories and adventures I experienced while fishing with Lyman's large circle of friends. My own family and friends are also unique. It is my hope that they may also provide enjoyment to the reader through vicariously experiencing their reactions to our wonderful New England environment. I've always been true to the MMM Way: Make More Memorable. I try to make every experience as memorable and enjoyable as possible for all the people I love. Memories!!! Make them, treasure them, but most of all, share them. Realistically, in the end, memories are all you and your loved ones have left.

About the Author
Born and raised in Vermont, Ken attended schools in Winooski and, while at Winooski High School, was an active player in basketball, baseball and football. He received both his Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Education from the University of Vermont. Ken spent the next 34 years as a teacher and coach. Upon retirement, he was elected as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, a position which he held until retirement after 14 years of service. Fishing is a very important part of Ken's life—it gives him great enjoyment and, upon occasion, great frustration. He also enjoys competitive pistol shooting and is classified as a Master Shooter. Ken resides in Winooski, Vermont, with his wife, Judy. They have two daughters and four fantastic grandchildren.
