About the Author
Chip Bok has been the staff editorial cartoonist for the Akron Beacon Journal since 1987. Through Creators Syndicate, his cartoons appear in over 100 publications, including the Chicago Tribune, Washington Post, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Time, and Newsweek. He also serves as executive committee chair for The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press in Arlington, Virginia. He is a 1974 graduate of the University of Dayton with a B.A. in English and a minor in sociology.

Robin's voice is deeply soothing and grounding and she helps you learn to relate to food in a much more healthy way throughout the different tracks on the CD. We do not get down to site charting until Chapter 5, after a chapter on the finer points of research design, long before the students have some notion as to what is to be researched. Many of the entries have illustrations so that when you encounter something unfamiliar, such as a "sakkos" for example, you know what you're looking at.
This excerpt gives an example of the unexpected that can be encountered in a painting which seems fairly straight forward.
