Editorial : About the Author Author Clifford J. Downey has had an interest in the Illinois Central Railroad since his teenage years and has lived in Kentucky most of his life. He has published more than a dozen articles and five books, including Images of Rail: Chicago and the Illinois Central Railroad.

Throughout the book, he often refers to his promotions and achievements as just "dumb luck". We shared a sixpack of beer and talked about big-picture ecology, life, love - everything we really care about. But in adult life, I have found the humility, humor, genius insight, peace, joy and truth in the writing and philosophy of C.S. This one covers a lot of the high-level details of the model from year to year, and has good coverage of the corporate, economic, and regulatory changes during the years the 914 was produced and marketed. Well worth the money -- you won't regret it!. He should give the money to Bill Gates who would do a much better job quietly. I would recommend this book strictly on this matter.
