Modelling of Cathodic Protection Systems (Advances in Boundary Elements)

The field of Corrosion Modelling has evolved tremendously since the first work was published in the early 1980'’s. Its initial application in the offshore industry has expanded to the point where modeling is applied in practically all application areas and the software has been developed to fulfill these needs. This book presents contributions from the most influential researchers and developers of corrosion modelling tools and users who apply the technology in their industry. Providing an excellent introduction to the state-of-the-art in computer modelling of corrosion and related electrochemical processes, this book will be of value to corrosion engineers and physicists, model developers and researchers.

EDITORIAL :

The industry practitioner will find parts of the selection of articles in this collection extremely relevant. The researcher will find the advanced articles to be highly specific and relevant to those areas where the editor has been a prolific contributor. The collection is highly unique in their regard - as a unique area of applied mathematics, the articles treat the optimization problem viz. The BEM method, in a straightforward manner, without taking away form the significant aspects of corrosion. --Journal of Metals, May 2007

REVIEW :

His work also presents a simple pathway to read further on the intellectual giants of the theological and philosophical worlds.

What I like about Scott is his open mindedness in going into dialogue with each approach to theodicy, giving each one a fair criticism and discards none.

Very well written, comfortable read and a good consized history of the theodicy question. I highly recommend it.. Burroughs limited experience with the things he writes about would be his general description of the animals in Africa. It's a funny celebration of family and the trials and tribulations that you can't help but laugh your way out of. The industry was invented by geeks who had more tech-savvy and personality than business sense. Includes some helpful hints on the finer points of service such as poise, attitude, boundaries.
