I've read TLAP before, but I decided to grab a digital copy, as well. ;-) My daughter loves this book, it makes her giggle and that's all I need to know to love it too. The authors present the view that the focus of treatment should be on the aspect of the family system that perpetuates the drinking behavior. The writing is clear and deliberate as is his speaking. There are flow charts with sample conversations for common topics (May I join the game, What are you doing this weekend) with flow charts for what to say depending on what answer you receive. Boiled, not fried.
