The CD is refreshingly affective and gets to the depth of the problem. I've been reading comic books and graphic novels for well over four decades, so I can look at some forms of drawing and painting and coloring, and I can certainly get jazzed about what it takes to put something like that down on paper for others to see, much less evaluate. This is not your average career building guide. I knew something was up a few chapters into this book and I almost put it down, but I cannot help but continue because I love hearing about their lives. Ignore the revisionist reviews and buy this book! It's an excellent work on this period of change within the Roman Empire and a very enjoyable read!. I absolutely loved this book of essays by DFW.
